World Numbering System Every stamp issued by participating postal administrations is verified and assigned a unique WNS number. Stamps not found in the database but purporting to be issued by participating administrations are illegal issues. Find Your Stamp's Value A subscription site that helps collectors identify and find the value of their U.S. stamps. Siegel Encyclopedia An online version of Robert Siegel Auction Gallery's catalogue of the Zoellner Collection. Lots of great background articles on US 19th & early 20th century issues, as well as back-of-the-book. Do It Yourself Expertization Some simple steps you can take to help determine if a cover has been faked or altered. Sandafayre Stamp Atlas A thorough, continent-by-continent atlas geared toward collectors who have an interest not only in the stamps but in the postal and social history of the territory or area concerned. Stamp Issuing Countries A multimedia presentation with information on stamp issuing countries, including addresses of postal administrations, geographic information and links to important web sites. Beware of Problem Areas A list from the APS of known forgeries, fakes, and reprints to be on the lookout for when buying older or more valuable stamps.
