  US Philatelic Classics Society  A group of 1851-1857 specialists that also covers postal issues and postal history from the stampless era up to the Bureau Issues.

American Philatelic Society  With nearly 50,000 members in more than 110 countries, the APS is the largest, nonprofit society in the world for stamp collectors.  [Bellefonte, PA]

American Topical Association  The largest philatelic society devoted to topical/thematic stamp collecting.  [Arlington, TX]  

American Airmail Society  The AAMS was founded in 1923, and is the second oldest aerophilatelic society in the world with over 1,500 members worldwide.   [Mineola, NY]

American First Day Cover Society  has a membership of nearly 3,000 active first day cover collectors, including hundreds of collectors who design and manufacture their own cacheted FDCs.  [Tucson, AZ]

United States Stamp Society  Formerly the Bureau Issues Association, the USSS is a society for the specialized US collector.

American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors  Founded in 1986, the AAPE is an organization of stamp collectors who exhibit their collections competitively and work for the betterment of philatelic exhibiting and judging standards and practices.

American Philatelic Congress  A unique organization dealing only in philatelic research and publication.
