The Syracuse Stamp Club is proud to issue this special event cover celebrating Veterans Day, and the Onondaga County Veterans Day Committee Ceremony at the Onondaga County War Memorial at the OnCenter.  Our cachet, drawn by Frank Murray under the name of Heritage Cachets, shows an eagle and shield depicting honorable discharge from the military.  The cancellation shows two service stars to honor this country’s veterans.

It is only fitting that we honor and express our gratitude to our country’s veterans who gave so much that humanity might enjoy the fruits of freedom.  Our veterans dedicated their lives to protect America from the threat of tyranny, and to free those abroad from war and oppression.  We particularly honor all those who served in the Middle East to bring freedom there. 

The Syracuse Stamp Club acknowledges our local veterans and the organizations that help them in many and diverse ways.
