The Syracuse Stamp Club hosted SYRAPEX ’93 on October 23rd & 24th, 1993 in Syracuse, New York.

The show featured a 25 dealer bourse, frames of exhibits, a super youth booth, and a United States Postal Service station.

The theme of the show was National Stamp Collecting Month.  Stamp collecting has long been recognized as the world’s most popular hobby.  The majority of Americans involved in this fascinating endeavor were introduced to the joys of philately at an early age by an interested brother, sister, parent or other relative.  In this way, interest in stamp collecting can help bring a family closer.  Stamp Collecting – A Family Hobby.

The cover is franked with Scott #1474 (8˘ Stamp Collecting) and one of Scott #2198-2201 (22˘ Stamp Collecting).  The stamps are cancelled with a special cancel commemorating National Stamp Collecting Month.
