Item 05-16-92 $1.00 The first KIDS’ STAMP SHOW was held on May 16, 1992 in Tully, New York. The Apple Junior Stamp Club in conjunction with the Ben Franklin Stamp Club Program celebrated this event with a special pictorial, commemorative cancellation and cacheted cover. The covers bear the following: U.S. stamps: 29˘ definitive Tulip (flower), 29˘ Olympic Baseball, and 29˘ 1992 Love stamp. The cachet design depicts the many thoughts and places you can imagine when you spend a few peaceful moments with a stamp album. The proceeds from the sale of these covers helped the elementary students at the Tully Central School realize their dream of a fun and imaginative playground. << Back to Main Covers Page >> |
