Item 05-13-93 $1.00 1993 marks the 30th anniversary of the Junior Philatelist of America. Keeping this theme in mind the Apple Junior Stamp Club hosted the second annual KIDS STAMP SHOW at the Tully Central Junior Senior High School on May 15, 1993 in Tully, New York. The Junior Philatelists of America (JPA) is a non-profit organization. Since 1963, the JPA has been the voice of junior philately. Their prime objective is to help young stamp collectors learn about the hobby and maintain a solid background and knowledge about stamps. JPA is a group run by and for young people, age 18 and under. Junior members operate services, write for the newsletter, serve on study groups, committees and elect their own officers. For more information about JPA, write: JPA, PO Box 850, Boalsburg, PA, 16827-0850. The Apple Junior Stamp Club is proud to be JPA Chapter #6043. We have devoted our activities for KIDS STAMP SHOW ’93 to help young stamp collectors develop their knowledge in the hobby of a lifetime. Proceeds from the sale of this show cover will be used to furnish club members and other young collectors with information, supplies and activities to enhance their future of philately. For more information, write: Apple Junior Stamp Club, 3756 Oak Hill Road, Marietta, NY 13110-9731. << Back to Main Covers Page >> |
